Whales!
Whales are migrating through Monterey Bay right now, and while I was on
my near-daily sunset walk throught Pleasure Point, I saw one inside the
kelp between first and second peak. That's sounds a little wonky, but
it's just one of those neighborhood things. If you live in this area,
you know exactly where I mean. It swam around and spouted for about 5
minutes before it disappeared.
Yeah, baby!
So that thing I said I would find out about today? Well, I found out about it, and it totally went my way! Woohoo! Thank you to every universal entity and energy that should be thanked! It is truly a marvelous thing and I am thrilled it worked out.
A big shout out to my friends too. I've got some really really good ones. I'm fortunate and blessed beyond belief in so many ways.
Oh my aching back.
My back is trashed again. What a joy. It's really a lot of fun being an old lady.
In other news, I had a nice short weekend at Plaskett Creek, just a little south of Big Sur. Great friends, great views of the Pacific Ocean, great campfire.
This is short and terse. I'm going to get in the hot tub to see what I can do get my back situated before I go to bed. In the mean time, keep your fingers crossed for me. I've got a little project cooking up on a back burner and I should get some news about it tomorrow. Nothing that will change my day-to-day life, but a cool thing for me nonetheless.
bye!
