I started Kyoto today

Today after work I sat down and started Kyoto. Boy, this sucker is going to take me a long time. It took me three hours to cast on 238 stitches and work one round of seed stitch. Maybe it'll speed up as I get a little further along- the casting on and the next two rows always work more slowly for me than any of the rest of the project. I am a really really really slow knitter though, so I may be working on this till July!

My sister and I talk about knitting up some Kyotos, but everytime it's brought up all I can say is...'ew, seed stitch.'
