Being sick really sucks

I'm sick as a dog, I tell you. And on top of feeling like crap I have lost my voice. I now sound like Flipper: all squeaks and clicks. It's truly amazing how much stuff you can't do when you have no voice. You can't call the phone company to complain about static on the line. You can't participate in conference calls at work. You can't yell from one end of the house to the other that yes, you'd like to have a fried egg. I'll be glad when I am back in rude health.

Thanks for the get well wishes, Lori!

I did spend a little time working on Red's top today. I finished the other half of it, and put some temporary ties on it. I need to find something better in the strap department. I've tried knitting, crocheting, braiding, macrame-ing, and all of it looks dumb and out of scale/wrong texture/uncomfortable/etc. It really needs some elasticity in the straps so I will probably end up trying to integrate some stretchiness in the whole shebang. But it is pretty cool. The fur has expanded quite a bit, and it's going to make Red look like she's got some seriously large boobies, that's for sure. A lot of people pay good money for the big booby look, so it's not like it's unheard of, that's for sure. Anyway, here's the pic. I'm going to bed.
